Growing up on a farm in a part of South Africa where droughts were the norm, there was nothing that could excite my Father like rain. Rain was prayed for, whished on, speculated about and definitely waited on with great anticipation. And when it finally came, it was something to celebrate. My parents would spend hours talking about the blessing of a recent downpour and my mother would bake special rainy-day pancakes. The smell of the first drops on the hard, red soil and the rhythmic tune the they made while landing on our steel roof has stayed with me till this very day.

Refund/Cancellation policy: I have done my best to capture accurate colours, but hues may vary from screen to screen and I want you to be 100% happy with your painting. However, if you are not satisfied or if your painting arrives damaged please email me within 48 hours of delivery, including a photo of the painting, if damaged, and I will do my best to resolve the issue. If you return the painting because you have changed your mind, you will be responsibile for return shipping. If the painting is damaged, I will pay return shipping.
Shipping: UK orders are ready to ship within 2 bussiness days. Please allow 2-3 bussiness days after you've receive notice of shipping.
International orders: ONLY works on paper can be shipped internationally. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery for orders outside the UK. This is just an estimate and will differ from country to country. Please note that most of the transit time is due to items being held in the receiving countries customs. Susan Bence Art reserves the right to cancel and refund an order due to the difficulty of shipping an item to certain countries. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
Taxes and Duties:
Buyers outside the UK are responsible for relevant duty and tax as charged when importing art to their country.
